Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Note Bridge ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental permission, to use this Service. We may update these terms at any time; material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice, and continued use after such notification constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
Note Bridge is a web tool that migrates content to Notion from supported source platforms, currently including Microsoft OneNote and Obsidian.
- OneNote migration: You connect your Microsoft and Notion accounts. Content is read from OneNote via the Microsoft Graph API, converted, and written to Notion.
- Obsidian migration: You upload your Obsidian vault files directly to Note Bridge. Content is parsed from your Markdown files, converted, and written to Notion. You are solely responsible for the content you upload — ensure you have the right to migrate all files in your vault.
Because source platforms and Notion use different content formats, conversion is performed on a best-effort basis — layout shifts, partial attachment loss, and formula or ink content gaps may occur. Such format-related differences are inherent to cross-platform migration and do not constitute a service defect. The Service depends on third-party platforms including Microsoft and Notion. If any platform changes its access policies, discontinues support, or experiences technical failures, Note Bridge is not responsible for resulting service interruptions or migration failures. The Service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time.
3. Payment Terms
Note Bridge uses flat-fee tier pricing. Each migration purchase covers a fixed number of pages at a single price.
- Free trial: Your first 20 pages are free — no credit card required.
- Flat-fee tiers: Personal — $9 (up to 200 pages); Pro — $29 (up to 1,500 pages); Power User — $79 (up to 5,000 pages). For migrations exceeding 5,000 pages, contact us for custom pricing.
- Merchant of Record: The payment provider identified at checkout is the Merchant of Record for your purchase. That provider handles applicable tax (VAT/GST/sales tax), invoices, receipts, and billing disputes. Purchases completed through Lemon Squeezy remain subject to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
- Prices exclude tax. The final amount charged may include VAT, GST, or sales tax as calculated by the Merchant of Record for your purchase based on your location.
- Currency: All prices are in USD. The Merchant of Record handles currency conversion where applicable.
4. Refund Policy
We stand behind the quality of our migrations with a delivery guarantee.
- Delivery guarantee: If pages fail to migrate, we automatically retry up to 3 times at no charge.
- Re-run at no charge: Failed pages remain available to re-run for free. You are not charged for pages that did not successfully migrate.
- Full refund: If zero pages from a paid migration succeed, or if you remain unsatisfied after retry attempts, you may request a full refund by contacting support@note-bridge.co. Refunds are processed through our payment provider within 5–10 business days.
- No refund for: Successful migrations where you are dissatisfied with the best-effort conversion quality (this limitation is disclosed before payment).
5. Your Content & Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your content — whether stored in OneNote, Obsidian, or Notion. By using the Service, you grant Note Bridge a limited, temporary license to access and process your content solely for the purpose of performing the migration you initiate. For Obsidian migrations, this includes the vault files you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Note Bridge owns the Service itself, including its brand, code, and technology.
6. Data Handling During Migration
- OneNote: Your content is temporarily stored in encrypted cloud storage during processing and deleted immediately upon job completion. We never retain copies of your notebook content after migration.
- Obsidian: Vault files you upload are stored in encrypted cloud storage during processing and deleted immediately upon migration completion. As a safety measure, any remaining files are automatically purged no later than 7 days after upload. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support@note-bridge.co.
Your authentication credentials for Microsoft and Notion are encrypted at rest, used only for migrations you explicitly initiate, and automatically deleted within 3 days of your last sign-in. To start a new migration after this period, sign in again and reconnect your accounts.
7. Obsidian Vault Limitations
The following limitations apply to Obsidian vault migrations:
- Canvas files (
.canvas) are not supported and will be skipped during migration. - Individual attachments (images, PDFs, etc.) are subject to a 5 MB upload limit per file, consistent with Notion's free-plan file size restriction.
- Plugin-specific syntax (e.g., Dataview, Templater) is not converted and may appear as plain text in Notion.
- Vault files must be UTF-8 encoded. Symlinks within the vault are rejected.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Migrate content you do not own or do not have permission to access
- Circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attack the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Upon account deletion, your authentication credentials and migration data are removed immediately. However, Note Bridge retains a permanent log of transaction metadata (email, timestamp, page count, and amount) for tax compliance, financial auditing, and fraud prevention purposes. This record does not contain credit card information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee perfect conversion quality, uninterrupted uptime, or error-free operation. Content is converted between source formats and Notion on a best-effort basis.
In no event shall Note Bridge be liable for any loss of data, lost profits, or any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to a refund of the fee paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
