What moves from Obsidian — and what doesn't

Headings, lists, bold, italic, code blocks, and blockquotes are converted to Notion blocks.
Wikilinks
Internal wikilinks ([[page]]) are resolved to Notion page links where the target page exists.
Callouts
Obsidian callout blocks (> [!note], > [!warning], etc.) are converted to Notion callout blocks.
Frontmatter
YAML frontmatter is preserved as a properties table at the top of each Notion page.
Tags
Inline tags (#tag) and frontmatter tags are carried over as Notion multi-select properties.
Embedded files and media
Images, videos, and file attachments referenced with ![[file]] syntax are uploaded and embedded in Notion.

Wikilink display text
Display text in wikilinks ([[page|display]]) is preserved, but the link target resolves to the Notion page.
Nested vault structure
Obsidian folder hierarchy maps to Notion page hierarchy. Deeply nested folders are flattened after 2 levels.
Embeds become links
Embedded notes (![[note]]) are converted to links to the target page rather than inline transclusion.

Obsidian canvas (.canvas) files are not supported. They are skipped during migration.
Dataview queries
Dataview plugin queries are preserved as code blocks but do not execute in Notion.
Community plugin content
Content generated by community plugins (e.g., Templater, Excalidraw) may not convert correctly.
Files over 5 MB
Files over 5 MB may fail to upload due to Notion's free-plan limit.
